3. From what these voices say what can we speculate the ‘monitor’ allowed these people to do with Ender?

6. Their a juxtaposed views on Ender attacking the bully saying that "he was thorough. He didn't just beat him, he beat him deep." The other reacts with distaste and hatred saying that he could go insane.

Chapter 3  Graff

1. (19) What does Ender get chosen for in the end? Why does he get picked?
2. Ender gets chosen for battle school because of the reason why he attacked the bully the way he did because he wanted to win all the fights after that.
3. What reservations does Ender have?
4. He was worried about Valentine and what would happen to his family but more about what will Peter do.
5. (22) What does the soldier say about religion and large families? So is this a religious or secular society? Why?
6. Religion is frowned upon and large families because of population issues
7. What does ‘Third’ mean? Why is this such a big deal?
8. Third is a derogatory term as large families are seen upon as wasteful and are hated upon.
